TODD SCHEEL - President/Owner
As President and CEO of FX in Motion, Todd is the visionary force behind one of the most innovative fan-engagement companies in the world. With more than 40 years of experience in entertainment, engineering-driven design, and large-scale production, Todd has built a reputation for transforming bold ideas into unforgettable game-day moments.
Todd thrives at the intersection of imagination and engineering. Growing up with a father who was an engineer, he developed an early appreciation for precision, problem-solving, and the thrill of building something no one has attempted before. That foundation—paired with his relentless curiosity and creative drive—has shaped FX in Motion’s identity from day one.
Today, Todd leads with a mindset that has become central to the company’s culture: think bigger, build smarter, and never create the same thing twice. In just the past two years, he and his team have launched ten new products—each one bigger, brighter, and louder than anything previously seen in the fan-engagement space. Under his leadership, FX in Motion continues to push boundaries, reinvent industry standards, and deliver high-impact experiences for the world’s top sports franchises.

JOSEF LEUTNER - Vice President

For Josef Leutner, that expression rings true every single day. As Vice President of FX in Motion, Josef collaborates with many of the world’s most iconic sports franchises, helping elevate the fan experience with groundbreaking entertainment products and high-impact stadium moments. Dream job? Absolutely—and one he’s earned through decades of expertise, innovation, and leadership.
Josef joined FX in Motion in 1998 with a deep background in machining and precision fabrication, instantly filling a critical role for a fast-growing creative engineering company. Since then, he has been instrumental in shaping FX in Motion’s identity, contributing to the invention and production of the world-famous Original T-Shirt Gatling Gun, along with countless other industry-defining fan-engagement products.
Today, Josef leads and mentors our entire team of creative professionals, guiding projects from concept to completion and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in sports entertainment. He oversees fabrication, build-outs, safety protocols, and quality control—ensuring every product that leaves our shop is engineered to perform flawlessly on game day.
Working hand in hand with Todd and Jacob, Josef plays a central role in bringing ideas to life, blending technical mastery with visionary leadership. His craftsmanship, problem-solving, and unwavering commitment to excellence are foundational to FX in Motion’s reputation as trusted innovators behind cutting-edge fan engagement.
JACOB OTTO - Creative Director
Jake has been a driving force at FX in Motion for more than two decades. Since joining the company in 2003, he has grown into the creative heartbeat of our operation—now serving as the Creative Director who oversees the full lifecycle of every product that leaves our doors.
With a degree in Industrial Design from the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, Jake brings a rare combination of artistic vision, technical precision, and hands-on fabrication expertise. He leads our design and CAD development, guides our fabrication team, and works directly with professional sports organizations across the country on pre-game training and game-day operations.
From concept sketches to game-day execution, Jake understands every bolt, wire, weld, and workflow behind our products. His deep knowledge, ingenuity, and problem-solving mindset are at the core of what makes FX in Motion trusted innovators in fan engagement nationwide.
And when he’s not creating the next big thing in sports entertainment? You’ll find him on the water—because the only thing he loves more than building groundbreaking ideas is a quiet morning spent fishing.
